The negotiation and documentation of projects of this kind calls for a detailed understanding of the functional requirements of the customer and many of the technical aspects of the proposed solution. A large scale system acquisition is likely to involve issues relating to project management, hardware supply and maintenance, licensing and support of operating systems, databases and application software, and services including training, data conversion and implementation services. We have represented vendors and customers in the negotiation and documentation of a large number of systems acquisitions.
